Pick something to argue about.
How about level limits. I think that they are completely arbitrary artificial restrictions designed to make humans more attractive choices in campaigns using race/class rather than race as class.
I don't have a problem with that, games have rules after all. This isn't real life or even a simulation.

OK... I am against level limits. For each race, it seems much more intuitive to make them have something that they excel at (magic for elves, burglars for halflings, fighter dwarves), etc. I would think they would attain power levels that humans cannot approach in their particular niche (given age considerations). Other non-archetypical choices for races could be given xp penalties, rather than a hard level (wall). This would achieve the same purpose (dissuade non-humans) , but slows progression throughout their career instead of 'normal progression until limit hit'.

On a forum devoted to a game without racial level limits, can't you find some OTHER controversy?
