Has then been on the workshop and been given peer review yet? I am not sure I have seen this before.

It's new, I uploaded it 10 minutes ago.

In my opinion, the showcase shouldn't be where non-reviewed supplements go even if you are on the approved list. They should still be polished up in the workshop and once you feel they are complete be moved to the showcase. Then again, I am not the Benign Dictator For Life here
Showcase should be just that, a Showcase of finished but not playtested products. Not an elite workshop for approved providers.

In general agreement with Hyway. Let folks offer opinions via Workshop (as I am currently doing with Familiars), then when it seems to have more polish, then the Showcase is good.
In my opinion, Showcase is for generally finished projects. Workshop (forum) is the training grounds for which one gets a project to that finished state... not that you cannot still make changes to a Showcase item when issues come up or new ideas need to be incorporated.

I've not been up to date with submission procedures.
As I used to do with the other files, I had initially sent the file to Chris for upload/approval and he gave me the go.
I was not trying to "skip" or pass in front of anybody else.
BTW I thought the file was as polished as I could get it done without some playtesting.
Smoot's feedback has apparently proved me wrong.

artikid is neglecting to mention that he sent it to me first, and I told him to put it in the Showcase.
This is not a business. Peer review is not required. If I give you a Showcase account upgrade, I trust you. I expect you to put only complete, ready-for-playtesting materials there, and that is precisely what artikid did. Even if I had not told him to do it, I'd be defending him.
Now, peer review is good. I'm not saying it isn't. But I'll admit, I often wonder why Showcase authors spend all their time working in the Workshop... is this, then, the reason?

I use the workshop because I write most BFRPG stuff in a rather collaborative way, both for the ideas it generates and because I want to engage others into coming up with stuff themselves... in effect, trying to train in some new authors... get them sharing, get them writing, get them commenting on stuff. Begging for others to be active in our little community.
That said, once I feel like something is essentially finished, then I feel like it can go to the showcase. It can still get edits from there, but likely less frequently as the bulk of the work is done.

I use both the workshop and the showcase at the same time so the file is easily accessible via both of this (so the reader doesn't have to go to another page and search for the file)
Sorry for any misspelling or writing, I am not a native English speaker

I did not mean that as a dig at Artikid. I should not have been talking in general about showcase items on a specific showcase project. That was my mistake. It was just that this thread got me thinking about it. Its fine if the Showcase is going to be for non peer reviewed projects. Its just not what I thought the Showcase would be.

I suppose I am looking at it from someone coming from the outside. I would see the downloads page as the official rules, supplements, modules, etc as designated by the creator of BFRPG. The showcase would be finished products from select BFRPG authors. And then the workshop would be for products "under construction". Taking a long view, judging from posts I have seen just on this thread, it looks like the Showcase will soon become the defacto workshop location for approved authors rather than the Showcase of finished products.
