You have to admire the stonecraft of these Dwarven cellars. A very nice tight fit to the stones. Built to last. The woodwork is a different style, but very solidly built as well. No cracks, lines, or loose bits can be found along the walls.Hywaywolf wrote:Muddle perks up at the talk of the loading door, but he continues his search into the cell area
The kobold looks very excited. Smells excited, too. You've heard of the "wet dog in stagnant water" smell they are supposed to have, but that only captures the surface of its fragrances.jcm wrote:Selene starts trying the keys on the Kobold's cage.
The worn brass key fits the lock nicely, and the lock opens with a satisfying click. You barely have time to loose the shackle before the kobold pushes the door open and yaps happily. It looks like it's going to jump on you.
Two areas searched means 20 minutes have elapsed - does anyone have any other plans or actions in that window?

I've lost track... if we have found our equipment, Moziah picks up his spear; otherwise, he hangs on to the iron bar. Either way, he stands guard near the stair until someone else proposes a reasonable plan of action.

Muddle is more of a rough individualist and doesn't plan to lead mostly because he doesn't want a bunch of strangers behind him with weapons. Unless someone take sthe initiative to lead us up and out, he will continue onto the next wall and keep searching.

Saeloria, showing signs of impatience, starts tapping her foot and pacing back and forth. Seeing as the halfling doesn't seem to be finding anything so far she finally blurts out "Well, this isn't getting us anywhere. You, Cook, where is this loading door you mentioned? Is anyone else with me or would you rather wait here for our 'friends' to return?" She then motions to the cook to ascend the stairs and moves to follow him.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

"Don't!" Selene says forcefully, stepping back.Joe the Rat wrote: The worn brass key fits the lock nicely, and the lock opens with a satisfying click. You barely have time to loose the shackle before the kobold pushes the door open and yaps happily. It looks like it's going to jump on you.
"Let's go." She looks the kobold over to see if he/she/it is armed. If not, she motions him to follow the elf, with herself following behind. She looks around the room to see who else is following.Blazeguard wrote: She then motions to the cook to ascend the stairs and moves to follow him.

Upon seeing the intention to head out, Galen moves to follow; he quietly hums a 'Charge' chord to help get the point across to his new friends.
OOC: if the kobold is unarmed (and the group affirms the decision), Galen will give the so-called "club" he had to the Kobold. (since no one seemed to take interest in it from my previous posts).

Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Muddle will fall in behind the others, crossbow ready to fend off an attack.

If Hamish appears to be needed in the front row, he'll go there; otherwise, he'll bring up the rear, on the lookout for any trouble from behind.
