I am designing some custom character sheets and I am just wondering how many spells an average MU would know/learn throughout the life of a character/campaign. I am wanting to make sure I allocate enough space to record enough for most (or at least the average) characters.
Smoot, I am also allocating space for recording cantrips/orisons. In your experience what would be an average number of zero level spells learned? Do you think space for 6 would be enough or can you see characters learning more than that?

Spells - Average Number
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.
Re: Spells - Average Number
hmm, while Cantrips are very useful during the first few levels, the use of them drops off afterwords (except for clerical 'cure minor wounds'. They just don't factor in much, I have not encountered a player that has the goal of knowing a great number of the cantrips aside from the first initial set.
So, my best guess of how much room is needed would be 8 at most, 6 being a very good number.
You may consider a separate Spell-Sheet for spell casters (MU/Cleric) with all the various core spells already printed on the sheet with room for extras (such as those from supplements or new creations).

Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?
