Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 4th Edition
In the meantime I guess, I'll just put the individual XP values in the Age Category tables. The whole point of the online guide is to provide a quick, handy reference. If users have to open up the rulebook to look up the XP table and calculate it themselves, it violates the intention of my guide.

In an effort to make sure I'm putting in accurate info, would someone mind double-checking my results? This is for the Cloud Dragon.
The Age one category was calculated using only 1 star, since it doesn't cast spells.
Otherwise, I used the formula XP = BaseXP + SpecialBonus*2
Code: Select all
Age Category 1 2 3 4 5 6 7
XP 945 1,225 1,480 1,765 2,075 2,395 2,730
Otherwise, I used the formula XP = BaseXP + SpecialBonus*2

Here's another question:
In the stat block for
Giant Eagle, Page 87:
The treasure type is listed as "Nil" This of course, obviously means the same as "None". I just pointed it out in case standardization is a concern.

It's not exactly poetry, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

Range and Duration are one line lower than they shouldSolomoriah wrote: ↑Sat May 20, 2023 10:19 pm It's not exactly poetry, but I don't see anything wrong with it.

Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 4th Edition
the range line is often dropped off the main heading line for longer spell names.
cf Cure serious Wounds
personally I think it would be best if all ranges were on a lower line than spell name, but that's just me

I prefer the condensed format. However, in this case the name is just a bit too long and crowds the Range: bit if I condense it.
