I want to run this in the near future and would like to know which version is the best to get and where is the best place to get it. I know about ebay, I keep a vigilant eye for stuff like this

Didn't WotC make a sort of free Return to the Tomb pdf? You might check that out... if I remember correctly it had wonderful maps even if you don't use the 3.x write-ups.
