I'm working on getting the game table etc set up for Teluria. Have any of you had any experience with character sheets in this situation? I'm inclined to just let everyone print out a copy of whatever they want to use or perhaps creating an online character sheet in Open Office. It occurs to me that I could set up something pretty nice in the spreadsheet or in the database.
Anybody had any experience with this?

Is this with a virtual table top like openrpg? If so then I have a simple bfrpg sheet already created that I use for my games. Do you want it? It is a simple text node.

I went with Map Tool primarily because not all of my players are geeks and I loathed the thought of trying to get them all to install and load and run python.
I also found Maptool easier to use in a lot of ways so decided to use it for now. once Pious Paladin is out of beta I may go back an take another look at it but for now I'm going with Maptool.

Re: Online character sheets
I've got a couple variations of character sheets I'm using for the pbp here. Most of the fancy guts of it are in gear purchasing and allocation (and encumbrance), but I could probably set up a neater Open version. A proper database version (with pretty sheet-style form) is a bit over my data-fu level though.
