A5 Core rules book layout

Post Fri Nov 20, 2020 10:58 am

Has anyone every considered editing the Core rules layout to fit into an A5 page size layout? Nothing wrong with the existing format of the Core Rules but I find my self owning multiple copies of it (since it's so darn cheap!) and was thinking it'd be cool to have a smaller size as well. Any idea/estimate of the time effort it would take? And how many pages it would work out to be?
Embracing the true DIY spirit of opensource, I'd like to make a custom hardcover for my core rules and it would simply look great in that old world style book size.

A mini version would be amazing. I am a former 40k wargamer and having a small travel version of the rulebook was always amazing. I find that if I carry my BFrpg rulebook with me it get beat up so I've resorted to traveling with a printed pdf version. May need to buy the hardcover soon.

You might try the tablet-friendly layout by James Lemon and work from that, once the odt file is made available, again.
