johndice, if you're available at some point I'd like to do an audio test with you. Some other players have had issues, so I'd like to make sure everything works before we start.

I'm online for the next hour or so, and then I may be off until game time. If someone else is available to help John test his sound, go ahead at your convenience.

I recommend using Discord for voice, is flawless. Roll20 has so many audio problems last times; players that can't hear each other and stuff like that.

Ack. I signed up for Discord, hated it, never went back. I'd have to reset my password.
The "new" Roll20 audio code is a bit finicky on the setup, but seems to work pretty well once it's going. However, one player was unable to get his microphone working. It's Buster's son, he can share stations with his father so that should still work out.
The last time I did Roll20 was something like five years ago, and we used Google Hangouts for audio. I could do that again, if everyone wants to. But that could turn tonight's game into one endless audio test... fair warning.

Just completed an audio test with johndice. Everyone is working except BusterBluth's son, and he has a workaround. See you all in 9 hours!

We use Skype for audio, mostly because that's how we've always done it. We also use Skype because we chat there during the week (I'm blessed with great players who've become friends).Solomoriah wrote: ↑Wed Apr 15, 2020 9:00 am Just completed an audio test with johndice. But if I was going to do a one-shot like you, I'd just use roll20 audio. Glad it is working well.
