Hey guys, so I saw there was a hook and a fishing net, but no fishing rod? Could we put that in? Suggested price would be 4 silver. You could also have replacement line for a silver each, floats for 3 copper, fishbait for 2 copper a pound, sinker for 2 silver.

What do you think? I am more than happy to write descriptions on those.

I suspect the intention is you snap a willow or birch wand from a tree, attach some twine and a hook yourself, the hook is probably the only thing you would be using thats manufactured, though I can't see any issue with having a fishing pole in there, but technology levels are going to mean it's basically a stick...

'Spell Pouch' in Equipment Emporium

The 'Spell Pouch' on page 16 of Equipment Emporium has this footnote:
Optional Rule Item: Consult with GM.
I don't see the optional rule in the Equipment Emporium or Core Rulebook. Anyone know this item's intent?

It means that the item is optional and left under the GM ruling, it may or may not be part of his game.
Some GMs rule that w/out a spell pouch Magic Users can't cast spells, its a simplified take on magical components.

Oh. Oh, I didn't see that.

I'm sorry, that won't be staying. The goal of EE is to supply things that Core Rules characters might need. Components aren't anywhere in the printed game materials, so there really shouldn't be anything like that in EE, especially lacking any explanation whatsoever.
