Re: BF1 Morgansfort
Found an issue on page 48. The monsters listed in room 47 of the Nameless Dungeon are still called Shriekers, while in r111 of the Core Rules, the monster is called a 'Wailing Morel'.
Any reason why we keep it named like that in the Core Rules since the OGL Debacle ended? I noticed it's in both the 3.5 SRD and the new 5.1 SRD. It is listed as Shrieker in Old School Essentials, Labyrinth Lord, and OSRIC.
My two cents is we should keep the term Shrieker for compatibility with older modules and other OSR systems.

You are right, of course. I'm finding some changes easier than others, and Wailing Morel has been one of the thorny ones.
Changing the name changes the order of monsters, and as of right now has slightly mangled the flow of the Core Rules, but consider the reversion to Shrieker to be official.

Can we do like the dragons and keep "Wailing Morel" in parentheses?

Agreed. It is a cool name, and it seems like something that might be known differently depending on the region.

I would put it in the body of the text as in "In some regions, Shriekers are also known as Wailing Morels".

In my games, some dungeon monsters survive on them.

Announcing!
BF1 Morgansfort: The Western Lands Campaign, Release 36 -- March 27, 2023
New art and a little editing has been applied to this book, and it would be a Print Release Candidate except that it still needs one piece of art.

Can I do an edit pass on this one?
