Chapter 3: Trying Again
Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
"Arvin, go ahead and heal master Grumm, We will need all the strength we have in the coming fight. Timorel, prepare your bow or your mighty sword as it pleases you. Grumm and Arvin prepare as well. I think I will need to pass between the two statues to start this mess. Since i think it is a foregone conclusion that we will have to fight, the fear that I had of the blood attracting the statue is now pointlesss I think I will bloody my hands first to see if the opposite is actually the case."
After Arvin heals Grumm, Shybolt will then walk to the door, hesitate and then place the palm of his hands against the blood on the door. If he doesn't start screaming in agony or melting into a puddle, he will then return to the statues, sword and dagger back in their rightful hands and attempt to walk between the statues once more.

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
Arven does as Shybolt orders (sounds a bit like Sister Mary Agnes, Arven thinks
).
I use a heal on Grumm and when completed he will stand cool
and ready for combat with shield and mace in hand, cloak billowing in the illusionary breeze.

Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
Grumm will accept the healing with a "Thanks bud" and then stand with a weary sigh, glaive in hand, ready to blunt it on a stone statue.

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
(OOC: Shybolt doesn't normally give commands, but he is about to do something insanely foolish and is nervous
)

OOC;
Grumm, I had no idea you were carrying a glaive, I thought you had a two handed sword (note to Arven, get contact prescription checked), so that explains why Arven did not want to get to close during the fight, gheesh that thing is big. Probably why Arven missed the zombie as well, yeah that's the ticket, it was the glaive see.jstater wrote:Grumm will accept the healing with a "Thanks bud" and then stand with a weary sigh, glaive in hand, ready to blunt it on a stone statue.

OOC - To help Arven out, Grumm will choke up on the glaive a little.
Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
So what happens when Shybolt nears the statues? Arvin figures his mace should be decently effective against living stone. Assuming he can hit them.
OOC; Grumm you da man....er um, or half-man as the case may be

Timorel keeps his sword ready and turns to face the statues. "Fighting enchanted stone with mundane weapons is not wise, but I'm afraid I don't have a better plan. Go on then, Master Shybolt, let's experiment."

Re: Chapter 3: Trying Again
Shybolt placed a hand on the door, and instantly felt queasy. The others watched in horror as blood began to trickle from his eyes, and ears, and nose.
