When the zombies didn't immediately respond to his command, Timorel reached back and shoved the horn into his pack. Then Timorel grips his weapon with both hands and swings at the nearest zombie.

Grumm will wait for the zombies to come to him before he attacks. He'll also try to get about 10 feet away from the statues, not wanting to accidentally activate them during the fight.

Brother Arven is also wondering what would have happened if they had blown the horn where it was found in the catacombs, would the interred dead have risen and attacked along with the zombies in the hall? He also makes a mental note to self that the horn is evil and must be destroyed before it can create more of the unholy creatures.
Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

At the sight of Brother Arven's holy symbol, and the sound of his voice, two of the walking dead turned away. The two who remained faced Grumm and Timorel, their arms upraised to attack; the two adventurers swung at them, but their blows went wide.

The bleeding orc-corpse facing Timorel struck at him clumsily, but the elf deftly dodged aside. Grumm wasn't so lucky, as the zombie facing him landed a heavy blow.

Grumm has suffered 6 points of damage. Declare actions for next round, please.

If the statues still have not moved and If Shybolt can get to timorel's orc in one round he will move to attack it. If not he will move as close as he can, switch his weapons from one hand to the other and toss his dagger at it.

If one of his comrades arrives to engage the zombie in melee, Timorel will take another swing at the zombie. If, however, Shybolt or another cannot make it to him for this round, he will adopt a defensive posture (for the +4 AC) and ride out the round.

(OOC: I'll be out in the boonies until tomorrow evening, so I'm not sure if I'll have internet access or not. If I can, I'll check the forum tonight, but I may not be able to post again until I'm back.)
