Chapter 1: The Descent
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Little Shybolt puts down his bow, looks up at Grumm, and says "Its all a matter of leverage and precise placement of pressure..." At which point he will throw himself at the door, shoulder first, in an attempt to open the stuck door.
If it doesn't open, he will rub his shoulder and say, "hmm, must be wizard locked."
If it does open, then I'll be in the thick of it what ever it is.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt successfully forced the door, and found himself in a large room. Along both side walls were many niches, about five feet long by two feet high, arranged in columns of four; he figured there were at least forty such niches, and each seemed to contain a pile of dusty, cobwebbed bones.
At the far end of the room, the glint of gold caught his eye, but it was too far to see clearly what it was in the meager light available.

Grumm: "Forward priest - you're services may be needed." Grumm will take a deep breath and enter with Shybolt, eyes on the piles of bones.
Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt will look up at Grumm, "You must have loosened it for me. Really."
Shybolt will then retrieve his torch, stow his bow and pull his sword. Then he'll look up, look down, look all around then move to the nearest niche, without touching anything, to see what could be seen about the bones.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Dorne will move up behind Shybolt (and I assume let Grumm bring up the rear), ready to turn undead at the first sign of movement from any of the bones.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Inspecting the piles of bones, the adventurers quickly realized they were the remains of some sort of lizard-men, though none knew if they were the remains of troglodytes such as they had fought before, or some other reptilian humanoid.
Hanging on a hook on the far wall, about five feet up from the floor, they saw a gold-trimmed horn. It was hung by a shoulder-strap, and was dusty and worn-looking.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
From afar, Shybolt greedily eyes the gold trimmed horn. "I bet if you blow that, all these bones become animated. I wonder if they will follow the commands of the blower or attack him".
He wants to search the room for traps and secret compartments, but he is only giving about 50% effort into the task as he moves toward the horn at too fast a pace.

Re: Chapter 1: The Descent
Shybolt reacts badly to the shouted command and half turns back to the Elf with his sword half out of its sheaf. Then sanity returns, replacing the anger and the greed. Remembering that he now has a roof over his head and a hearty meal available whenever he wants it, he replies, "Right you are, pointy ears. We're in no hurry. The horn will still be there when we finish searching the walls.
