Re: Out of Character Chat
No worries. I'm probably going to be out most or all of this weekend myself.
Re: Out of Character Chat
I'm leaving for a 3 day anime convention tomorrow morning, but since I am not going for myself I will have plenty of time to log in using the hotel lobby computer if the hordes of cosplaying youths don't hog it all the time.

Sounds fun. I'm leaving for the weekend as well, but I may only be able to check a couple of times. It's possible I could be out of touch until Tuesday night, but I think I'll be able to at least check in tomorrow.

Maliki is going to have to leave us, so I propose that you all leave the dungeon (finally) and we invite someone new to join us.

Agreed - and sorry to hear Maliki won't be with us.

That's too bad. I hope it's just a time issue and that nothing's wrong.Solomoriah wrote:Maliki is going to have to leave us, so I propose that you all leave the dungeon (finally) and we invite someone new to join us.

Yeah, time, that's what he said.
Before I make an open call, does anyone want to invite anyone specific?

Gonna miss you Maliki. I hope you find time in the future for some gaming.
Offer for a new player
Gentlemen, Not meaning to break in on a private party, but If you have no one else in mind I would like to try my hand at the online game. I have never played an online game before, but am willing to read and learn. Been playing D&D since 1980, just recently took it up again full time with my children and wife (I have 9 kids, so hey, instant gaming group) and have been running them through a campaign.
I have purchased the BFRPG perfect bound, so I have the core rules and all the supplements ready.
If there isn't room for me this go round then I will lurk in the darkness, with my hood pulled over my head like any good ranger and learn the ropes until opportunity arises.
Thanks

Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

Re: Out of Character Chat
I'm cool with you joining. Please review the Character Sheets and the "Interested in..." thread; my first post in the latter thread details the character generation rules for this game. You'll be replacing Maliki's character, Dorne, a dwarven cleric. I'm willing to allow some variation in race, but I think a cleric is needed in the party. If that works for you, jump in.
