YC is assuming the other guy will catch him and be kept busy that way keeping his friend from drowning.

YC will now attack (twice per round) the pirate outside the cube.

Hold yer horses!

He's on guard. You'll have to make a move silently roll and a hide in shadows roll to get to him and get in an attack.

Then we'd roll initiative. If you blow either roll, we roll straight away.

Low odds, but might work. Do you want to do it?

Well, I was planning on just rushing him and not being sneaky but it's worked so far so let's try to be sneaky. Please roll well for move and hide rolls. ;)

Well, you roll a 93 and a 98, so your attempt at stealth is dismal anyway. He sees you and you rush him.

Initiative: he beats you narrowly and shoots you. You take 8 his points of damage. Your attack - you hit once and do 6 hit points. He is also stunned! Woot!

Sonja and Apinya hear the gunshot from the top of the stairs. Sonja moves back up the stairs. Apinya stays down below, pointing his gun at the base of the stairs. The skinny character continues to move down the right hand hallway.

Let's go into rounds.

R1 - you have initiative. Declare actions, or I will assume you are holding your position.

When my turn comes around, assuming I don't see anyone else come into view, I drag this guy to the well and throw him in too.

YC - Quite a lot of the concrete cube is actually full of darkness so you can't see inside, but you can hear noise down below, from down the hatch.

Do you still drag the guy away? That's 2 rounds to get to the well and chuck him down there.

Twang. The arrow is loosed. Kanya hits Apinya and does him 8 hit points, the maximum.

Upstairs, the monk moves 40' away, carrying the unconscious man with him. He sees Sonja appear at the top of the stairs.

Moving to initiative:
Jaali 7
Kanya 6
Sonja 5
YC 4
Apinya 2
Unknown character in right hand hallway - unknown

This means that Sonja acts before the monk. She casts Hold Person on him. He fails his saving throw very badly and is paralysed for an unknown period of time. He drops the pirate on the ground.

Apinya! calls Sonja! It's that damned monk!

Longman! You're still confused with the names! :lol: :roll:

Sonja= the ranger
Kanya = the cleric

and no changing the character sheets! :)

Also, Sonja gets +3 on damage because pirate is her favored enemy.

Was Jaali able to act in the prior round? If so, Sonja will fire carefully (-4) at Apinya. If he didn't move, I'll shoot normally. It's the second round so two arrows. Roll high please. :)

Mechanics question (b/c I don't know and couldn't figure it out from the rules): Am I still shooting his back, or would Apinya be able to turn around?
