Part Five: The Hunters and the Hunted

Gerald gets some meat cooking over the fire. He looks at you all appraisingly.

Akarrus sees no signs of humanoids nearby.

Once he has eaten Haldor pulls his hat over his eyes and quietly falls asleep by the fire.

The companions go about their business, setting up camp. Nothing much happens.

[Nightwulf]

Akarrus returns to the camp unseen. He lowers his hood,the sun shines dully on his dark grey mask. He sits cross-legged on the ground resting his back against a tree. He draws his knives and starts to sharpen them.

The forest remains quiet around the companions.

[SerGavin]

And haldor sleeps on.

The night passes eventually, and the dawn comes. The first rays of sunlight fall upon the sleepers' faces.

Akarrus is already up when the others awake. He is standing there hooded with his cloak wrapped around his body staring off to the north not really seeing anything but walking through his memories.

Lys takes out her prayer beads and says her morning prayers.

The sky slowly brightens as the companions wake, and begin to start their day. Gerald is already up, cooking some porridge over the fire.
