I rather you point it out then have someone get the wrong info. I'm grownup and can admit that I made a mistake while not getting upset. You did no wrong.

Hopefully the OP can find all the answers to the questions he/she asked amidst the clutter of this thread.

Wow, a lot of good info in a short time....AND everyone here is so respectful!! This beats asking questions in a sub-reddit! ;). OK, I think I'm ready to attempt a game with my daughter. All we need now is a table, which I guess is required for tabletop gaming. ;). To be delivered on Friday. Screw family meals...this'll be an interesting way to break it in.

I've run games in a living room, with no table at all. This was before we used figures for combat.

I've also played BattleTech on the living room floor a couple of times... those were the days.

That is the cool thing about pnp rpgs, you can game anywhere. If you have a tablet or a smart phone, you can get a dice rolling app and use it instead of real dice then while on a long car trip, you can play a game. I did that with real dice when driving cross country. It made time fly, kept kids occupied, had good family time by everyone including the non gaming mother who got sucked into giving personality to various npc's.

You could game in the living room, bedroom, back yard, front yard, friends house, in a tree house, heck you can game in a boat while it floats. That is the wonderful ability of pnp gaming. It can be done anywhere.

Say!
I like BF RPG!
I do! I like it, Solo-Mo-Riah!
And I would play it in a boat!
And I would play it with a goat...
And I will play it in the rain.
And in the dark. And on a train.
And in a car. And in a tree.
It is so good so good you see!

So I will play it in a box.
And I will play it with a fox.
And I will play it in a house.
And I will play it with a mouse.
And I will play it here and there.
Say! I will play it ANHYWHERE!

I do so like
BF RPG!
Thank you!
Thank you,
Solo-Mo-Riah

Hey, blame it on metro. He's the one that said you can play it in a boat,
while it floats,
or in a car,
while driving far.

I just had a very good 5 odd hour session round my friends house and if we where playing with miniatures then we wouldn't of had enough room for the mound of crisp packets.
