Chapter 2:Taking the Offensive

Didn't read part about bear being killed .
Anyway Alena shout's, "Nice ones guys. All thanks to me of course, The bear was probably so inspired by my beauty that he didn't brother putting up any defence.

"Fine work by you as well, Sanzaru. I thank you for the aid, that bear nearly did me in for good."

Boldol starts looking over the bear for anything that might look useful. He's particularly interested in the claws, hide, and meat. He's also going to stop and listen closely to see if he hears any other bears or cubs.

Pebbles inspects the beast, slices off a nice hunk of rump and puts it over the fire.

[asacolips]

OOC: Boldol is going to go ahead and take a claw along with a cut of meat. I'll assume for now that he'll listen for other bears after his conversation.

Boldol takes a seat next to Pebbles and also places some meat on the fire.

Boldol checks the area and listens carefully but doesn't hear or see any evidence of more bears in the area.

Everyone tries to relax as they eat lunch. After lunch you continue on, following Imperial Road. Just before dusk you come upon a large statue located in what would have been the middle of the road. The statue is of a horned beast resting on a black basalt pedestal covered in vines and worn by time. It is chipped and pock-marked and its right arm is outstretched, pointing towards the east.

I think we should go thataway.

Any chance of toppling the statue?

[Hywaywolf]

"I don't really want to topple the statue and give away that we are in the area, but if you feel its worth it then do what you gotta do."

((I assume we know which way we need to go to get where we want to be, or is this statue a decision tree for us?))
