Oypeen casts sleep into the middle of the 3 bugbears

Oypeen finishes his spell just as the two creatures on the floor decide its time to eat. One simply sits right back down asleep with his chin on his chest. The other, half turned when the spell went off, falls on his face with a dull thud. Our third Bugbear over by the armor turns at the noise and upon seeing an his downed companions begins waving his arms and chanting.

(To Sturm: You can act right before the Bugbear by the armor begins casting. There is just a shade under 40' between the two of you.)

Sturm rushes into the room with his Maul raised over his head yelling: Why do I have the feeling this is going to hurt!

(I run into the room so double my normal speed and a cover a whopping 20')

OOC: Did we find out whether or not there was a ring of Protection +4 available? Just need to update my char sheet and AC if so

(It just occurred to me, how are we rolling dice for this? Should I be rolling at home, letting Jandolar do it, what? Until I get an answer...)

Hermia, thinking quickly, raises her crossbow to her shoulder and lets fly, hoping to interrupt it before it can get off its spell.

As Sturm charges into the room our Bugbear spell casters eyes widen and he quickly stops casting only to begin another spell. Part way through his second casting....... fffffffffffft..... THOCK! A crossbow bolt fired by Hermia strikes him in the hip. It didn't appear to do much damage but it did disrupt his spell.

Unless Rykken has something planned this is the end of your surprise round.

Still running into the room, Sturm charges at the Bugbear caster to try and get within in range to smack him with his maul

(My Next Action(after Hermia) is double move to where the Bugbear is. I was going to use a charge but realized the rules only allow certain types of weapons to do a charge and a maul ain't one of them. Also go ahead and take the +4 Ring LL, the +2 gets me to AC20, and the +4 will put you at 21. Oh and Sturm doesn't Range )

((ooc: question about charge - can you charge (2x speed) and attempt to grapple the same round? Hermia is actually at 19AC since she has plate and shield and a +1 dex, so she would be at 23AC with +4 ring.))
