((May I suggest that if we do go back up to the tavern that we start another thread?))
That is my plan. It's like a "save point".
Let me know what all you have planned, where are you all located while discussing the plans, etc.... There are still things wandering around down here that would love to munch on adventurers.
well, Oypeen and Lianna is waiting for the fire to burn out and Oypeen went down that passage the zombies came out of and peeked east to see what was in that direction. Once the fire is out, Oypeen will lead Lianna back into the Pillar room and say, "I had hoped that Lianna could look into that hidden compartment, but she can't see anything. We could take the chance that its not trapped and try to open it up or we could just go up top, get her healed up and then come back down and find out what's there."
After seeing to Liannas needs Opyeen takes a quick minute to ensure that nothing is sneaking up on them. Seeing that all is clear and safe he returns to his wounded companion. Rykkens oil trap finally burns itself out and with his help both Opyeen and Lianna make it back into the pillar room. The "CERTAIN DEATH THIS WAY!!" scrawled on the wall by the southern entrance seems ever more ominous now that death has so narrowly been avoided.
A muffled sniffle and "Nnesk go home, Nnesk go home..." can be heard from the goblin still tied to the pillar, tears streaming down his dirty face.
((lol Thanks Oypeen, always the gentleman . Even though Lianna herself is in no shape to voice her opinion I personally say let Nnesk go. He's no threat))
The map has been updated. I took the liberty of revealing a few turns since I figured you'd go a little ways to be sure you weren't going to get ambushed again.
Rykken looks around, "Well, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to head topside and get Lianna fixed up. What are we going to do with our little 'friend' here?", he asks.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.
"I don't hear anyone object to the idea of releasing him to his own affairs, so lets release him and make haste back to the Inn for a searing steak oozing with blood and a very cold wine.
