So, Elena's up first ... are you back with us Woe?

To keep things moving, I'll continue with the instructions that Woe left me ...

Elena tries once more to cast her Invisibility spell (Woe rolls: 70 - fail). There are some hoots of derision from the crowd as the Elf again struggles to master her spellcraft.

Noticing that Elena seems to be somewhat distracted, Filibert gathers his courage and charges at Elena, trying to knock her down.

The crowd roars as the halfling makes his move. Filibert sprints in Elena's direction and reaches her comfortably before she has time to react.

(By running Filibert can cover the 45' distance between him and Elena, but he'll have to wait for the next round in order to make any form of attack)

There are guffaws from the crowd as Targus is unable to conjure anything more than a slight fizzle that drops harmlessly at his feet.

Yep! Well, at least it's supposed to be . Although Kareena, the custodian of the Temple to all Deities, is on hand to aid the fallen.

Marcus checks to see that his crossbow is loaded and shoots a bolt at Targus.

Marcus's target percentage for firing at Targus = missile weapons skill (16%) + DEX bonus (-5%) + Targus's AC (-10% for AC 13) + short range bonus (+5%) = 6%. Hmmm ...

Marcus rolls 25% - miss.

The crowd duck for cover as the bolt goes whistling over Targus's head. There's a collective sigh of relief as none of villagers are injured.
