I guess that party have encountered one too many Mimics!

Also, I like the shaded version the most. It makes the characters pop from the page/screen.

I tend to agree that the shaded stuff works better. The line art has a certain old school look to it which speaks to me at some level, and seems somewhat useful as a starting point for shading or color options.

Wow! I like your dungeon maps. You know what they remind me of? Sorcerer's Cave. Thats a super fun game that I always felt needed another couple hundred cave and monster cards. Yep! Cool stuff in your links, I'm going to look it over more carefully when I have a little time to dig into it.

Thanks Joe. The goat was admittedly an odd choice, but it seemed like something I would have actually suggested during a game, especially if our magic user had the right kind of spells to work with. :)
