Names of obvious magic items ("staff of healing" = "staff" that casts "healing") are okay and will not change. In fact, as we'll have to do a name-mapping pass later, I wouldn't worry about spell or item names.

Hey Greg, good job on the review.

Quick tip: try looking for monsters on Wikipedia to see if they're part of 'human culture' meaning that they've been around long before D&D. For example, Trolls, Dryads, or Ghouls are OK, and we don't need to flag them as intellectual property.

Also, I know it's a bit messy, but there are discussions about renaming some problematic IP monsters in the Core Rules thread. Try maybe running a search on that thread to see if anything has been said about them. The Treant is a good example of a monster that will need to be renamed in 4e.

Thank you, I didn't know there was discussion about this in the core rules thread. I have some reading to do. I've started keeping a list of things not to tag. It should get cleaner as I keep going and my list gets longer.
