EDIT (5/9): I removed stars after the book page number, and shortened the description. Note there is some discussion that some of this content is more appropriate for a Dinosaur / Land of the Lost Theme. Will hold off on more edits until we discuss it more.

Ah... Dinosaurs.

I find myself wondering if we should have a separate section for "Lost World" encounters.

Ideas?

Lost World/Dino Island/Hollow Earth, sounds workable, do we have enough dinosaurs to grant them their own list?

EDIT (5/9): I tried to shorten the descriptions and removed stars after the book page number. I also added weapon types to monsters with weapons. This list hasn't been discussed yet, and looking over it Red Caps might not belong here at they live in abandoned places...

I see all the above creatures with a FG#*, but they should be simply FG# as they are not modified versions (Specials).

I think we can make that work. JN2 Monkey Isle does.

Cool, we have a new source for creatures.

If you update the file with the new encounter list I (and whomever wants it) can start adding dinos.

They should use "JN2#" as a reference right?

No, let's keep it to just what's in the Field Guides. I think the major selections are all there. You can also include other non-dinosaur extinct creatures in such a list (like Terror Birds).

That's even better.
Out of the 100 results, how many should be CR, how many FG and how many special?

That's the tricky question. The core rules don't have very many appropriate monsters. Before we do this, let's get a list of all the relevant monsters (with their source book and page) and then figure out how to distribute them.

I'd do it now but I'm on something else...
