HOWEVER, in this case I'm going to let it stand. I'm not sure what you're saying here, but if you're saying we (the production team) avoid repeating art, I can tell you for sure that we don't. I reuse art all the time, mostly monster art, as filler blocks to fix format flow issues.

Re: Art Requests
Weird, I thought outside of monster pics BFRPG try to not repeat art whenever possible
(Sorry for the "we", I tend to speak in plural including myself as part of BFRPG )

Re: Art Requests
Art that represents something very specific in an adventure is unlikely to get reused, but if it's general enough, yeah, I do reuse it.
The main thing to remember is that artists are assigning rights to me; ultimately, I have to decide how to use the art we're given.

Re: Art Requests
Hey, a note to our artists: If you do a piece for a specific book, please post it in the Workshop thread for that book. It's cool to put it in your own art thread too, but if you don't put it in the Workshop we may not remember it when we're doing editing and layout.
Thanks guys.

Re: Art Requests
About requesting art:
From the first comment of this thread:
From the first comment of this thread:
Normally artists do art for whatever caught their eyes (or they simply present drawing in hope somebody can use it) unless Solo or Chii make an announcement asking for art for a specific supplement or adventurePlease, before requesting artwork, if you are not a member of the production team, please contact Solomoriah or chiisu81 for permission. We don't ask artists to do work on things that are not slated for printing; as we don't pay them, the reward they get is their art appearing in print. Asking for art for a work that won't be put into print is basically asking the artist to work truly and entirely for free. If your submission is on track for printing, the production team will post an art request to help fill it in when it's time to do so.

Thank you Dimirag for taking the time to correct me (even when I did not take the time to read the rules). My bad, sorry.
