Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
Are you deleting the old ones before adding the new ones? Because you need to do that.
If it's still not working, what exactly is it telling you?

Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
After deleting the old version, I click the "add file" button and select my file as usual. Then nothing happens. My selected file doesn't seem to show up ever. Kind of odd.

Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
After adding the file, you have to submit the post again. Is that not working?

Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
Right yes, after selecting the file to add, it does not show up in the list. The "add files" button then looks depressed and stays that way. If I then click submit any way the file still doesn't show up.
Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
Oddly enough it seems to just not work on that first post.
Attaching here for now.

This is great teaman, thank you!
Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
Most welcome, always thrilled when my babies find a home.
(Not my actual children. They said I have to keep them.)

Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
Revision13 up.
Changes include minor rewording and clarification of several sentences around wilderness exploration, Rumours & Legends, Fears, and one added note concerning using Tracking ability to add 3 MP to the days travel. Had not explained previously that failing such an attempt results in a loss of 3 MP.
And that's pretty well it for my rules. Nothing much more to add at this point, other than continuing to play through the procedures and record and post to youtube as examples/demonstrations (which I continue to do currently solo).
I still hope to put together a GM screen style reference of all the tables and procedures.
Solomoria:
Is this document a candidate for official BFRPG supplement status? If so, what needs to be done still for that to happen. There was talk of your desire to have these procedures split into "Creating hexcrawl;" and "Running a hexcrawl". Is this still true? I believe the procedures in this document to be best kept in their current amalgamated format to more easily facilitate play by preserving the order of operations. But I could extract portions of the material and make it more generalized (more of an overview?) perhaps to be included in something like the Core rules for example. I could see that being something of a draw for newcomers to BFRPG since most (none?) OSR games don't actually offer any guidance for the hexcrawl style of play. Or would you see this as another supplement?

Re: Hexcrawl procedures?
Before I answer your questions, I need to look it over again. I'm not sure but I may have time tomorrow.
And yes, I do think it might be a candidate for the Downloads page.
