Lovely evocative statement there Bp! :D
Thanks so much. The model for the druid was beautiful, so all I had to do was not goof it up.

Women didn't get pockets in their clothes until the 19th Cent. (They previously had discreet slashes in their overgarments providing them access to a kind of double belt pouch at the waist over the undergarments and under the outergarment.)
Thanks Fabian.

Um... nope I knew none of that! I've been misinformed, and once again in life I find the culprit to be Bilbo Baggins ("What has it got in its pocketsss?").

So now all we need to do is update the Thief Abilities table in the core rules from "Pick Pockets" to "Slight of Hand". (That was a joke, btw).

Jokes aside, it would seem a lot easier to steal from these types of pouches then to literally pick pockets.

Are thieves overly susceptible to having their pouches picked? Or less? Maybe it's a thief hiding in plain sight. It's a fashion statement that says, I can't possibly be a thief -- I have a goodie bag right here -- Who does that? -- An honest man, that's who! :D

Easier than cutting a purse/pouch that hangs from the belt? Maybe he's a Gray Mouser type and that's where he keeps his spell components at the ready. Or it could be artistic license:

Oops my apologies as well, especially for the dopey picture. The conversation was interesting though, I agree Seven that the case pouch doesn't seem too practical for coin!
