Teaman's Pictures for Basic Fantasy
Re: Teaman's Pictures for Basic Fantasy
All money is coin, so I image a thief would put his in a purse and tie it tightly so that it doesn't jingle when he walks.
To me, it stands out, as it attracts unwanted attention.
Also, I imagine it should probably close with a strap and a buckle otherwise it could open in a brawl...

The pouch? It's where he keeps his best lock picks, so they're handy.
He's thinking about whether he should rob Garthwyte Manse tonight or wait for the new moon.
BTW, like this thief the best out of your latest crop... but they're all good.

Interesting history. If it's good enough for Ötzi the Iceman...toddlyons wrote: ↑Wed Oct 21, 2020 3:54 pm It's totally historically appropriate!https://getpocket.com/explore/item/the- ... ket-newtab

Re: Teaman's Pictures for Basic Fantasy
I still have one from 1986. It's black leather, and despite the use it seems determined to outlive me.

Re: Teaman's Pictures for Basic Fantasy
Anyhoo as you all know that in our own world's history in Europe, belt pouches, purses and bags were the norm until the Modern Age (16-hundreds) when pockets were invented for men's clothes. Women didn't get pockets in their clothes until the 19th Cent. (They previously had discreet slashes in their overgarments providing them access to a kind of double belt pouch at the waist over the undergarments and under the outergarment.)
