I need a blurb for the Downloads page. You don't provide one in the adventure (it's not required); do you have any suggestion?

Blackapple is a remote pig-farming village overshadowed by a large fairy mound. It provides low level PCs with a starter town and hub for mini-adventures, as well as a larger adventure in a subterranean elf lair (the “Brugh”).

Also, I noticed some (but not all) of the checkboxes are formatted in Arial Black. Checkboxes print fine in Century Gothic; it'll look weird part one, part the other. I'm going to fix some and leave the rest for later, as I'm really doing big picture items in this pass.

Formatting is pretty good, actually. Layout isn't that hard, much is done already. Thanks!
Going through to fix these things for an r13... so is Century Gothic or Arial Black the preference? I went to check in the latest Adventure Template and it's Century Gothic in all examples except Wandering Monsters... Wandering Monsters are in Arial Black. Is that right?

Nothing should be in Arial Black. Chi, sounds like you need to check the template...

Looks likes it's just the HP checkboxes in WanderingMonsters that's set to Arial Black for whatever reason.

So how do things get maintained once they're on the Downloads page? Not that I plan to make frequent changes to it at this point, but there are a few tweaks that I made, mostly based on things Solo pointed out when he did his last pass:
- Global: HP checkboxes are all in Century Gothic
- A2: Added room description for Patient #3.
- Encounter 6 in Blackapple, Patrolling Clerics of St. Ludann: Added missing stats.
- Global: Plural of "ibix" is "ibix" (not "ibixes").
- Misc. points of clarification for things pointed out by a reader on MeWe

None of this affected layout.

Anyway, I'll attach these changes to this post as r13. Normally I'd upload the new rev to the first topic in comments, but I have a feeling that's not how it's done once something's on the Downloads page.
Edit: attachments removed as now in Projects

Correct; normally it's emailed to Solo, or these days put into the Projects Dropbox folder we use for coordinated work for items on the Downloads page (and mostly things in- or eventually to be in-print). I'll let Solo PM/contact you regarding that.

I've said this before, Bumble, you're unusual. Most authors aren't that involved after they hand off their manuscripts; we pass the document around, with either Chi or Al making changes (sometimes both) and dropping new revisions into the Projects folder, and then I pull them from there, do a layout pass through the document (and sometimes do some proofing myself) and then post the new set of documents on the website. Sometimes we have a hard time getting answers from the authors about things that need clarification. This is not an indictment of the authors... often they were lucky to have enough time to write the adventure, and our proofing cycle can be very slow, leading some of them to sort of wander off.

But as I say, you're unusual. So here's the deal... I'll add you in to the Projects folder on Dropbox. You'll need a Dropbox account, of course, and you'll need to email me at solomoriah@basicfantasy.org from the email account you registered on Dropbox with (or get that email address to me some other way). Then I add you to the folder, and you can drop updates there for us to process.

The main thing is, if you drop a new revision on us and I post it, you MUST download that version of the new revision before making more changes! Otherwise, our work will be erased when you drop in another revision. I get cross when I have to do the same work over again...
