Sounds like you're getting a bit snarky... that's against policy. Unless Teaman likes it...

Re: Botanicals
I'm slightly confused about it. Is it class, race, or a race as class type of supplement? I haven't bothered looking at it yet but text blurb says "play an adventuring Botanical, a race of plant-based creatures." but then just below it says "A full character class".
So which is it?
So which is it?
Re: Botanicals
The supplement takes the "race as class" approach, since they are fairly unique. However, inside there is a suggestion about stripping out three of the racial abilities that act like skills if a person wants to play them as a pure race and then use one of the standard classes (fighter, cleric, etc...). Another option could be to treat them as multiclass, if you do that in your games.Metroknight wrote: ↑Sat May 04, 2019 12:55 am I'm slightly confused about it. The way I ran the numbers makes them compatible with BFRPG, even with race as class. They fight as well as clerics, but are a little tougher overall. They don't get spells, but have some spell-like abilities (Talk to plants, healing, scouting) that improve with experience.
You're right that I could have been a little clearer on the cover. Thanks for the interest, it's always good to have someone else take a look.
(and thanks to Solomoriah/Chris for allowing the product promotion thread.)

Seems that everyone else need to jump in and start to regulate something that really need no regulating or even mentioning. But as it is nowadays it sure seems that's the case.
And yes I know it's yours, @Solomoriah, and you run it as you wish ...
It's a very slippery slope to walk trying to regulate thing so that there isn't any change to someone who doesn't know how to deal with their emotions get their fragile thin mind offended.
Now I know how it's here and will not ever again make any more jokes.
