Players

Post by jobend »

Hi!

I haven't played RPG in about 20 (since 2nd Ed. AD&D) years but stumbled upon Basic Fantasy a few months ago. Currently awaiting my delivery of the core rules and a few other titles.

Now, I am very interested to join a game if someone is running a virtual tabletop session/s.
I am located in Sweden so English is not my native language.

Thanks!

Welcome! My roll20 game is on a bit of hiatus now since I'm too busy to properly prepare. However, there's always a few games listed on roll20 and that's probably a good place to start.

Thanks, I've looked at upcoming games on Roll20 buy I didn't see any BFRPG sessions there.

D&D 5ed games are not rare ;)

Gold used to DM some BF games on Roll20...

Ah, he mentions his group here: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2371
Might be something to check out.

Good luck!

Ooops, sorry it looks like both of those links in that thread are dead. It looks like Metroknight still plays though. He mentions it in this thread: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=3523&p=67222#p67222

And has this link in his signature to the Roll20 game: https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/6116 ... ten-word-2

Good luck, I hope you get a game soon!!

I do run BFRPG games but right now I run play by post game due to work (it is on hold at the moment due to the same work). I have thought about running a voice game but have not put to much thought into it yet.

You run PbP on Roll20 or a PbP forum? [asks the man from a PbP forum :D]

I use Roll20 for the sheets, maps (it is interactive), and dice but the RPing is done on discord. I do this because my community is Roll20 based and there is a rule that any game listed in that community must use some part of Roll20 (sheet, dice, or maps) at a minimum.

Text games on Roll20 are growing in popularity (my community is approaching 700 members).

700? Wow! That's great.
I really enjoy PbP gaming, but never could get into texting. I tried once or twice but I couldn't get into the flow of it. Sorta like playing over video, different flow than face-to-face. Sorta how some folks dislike the pacing of PbP I guess :)
Thanks!
