Re: Basic Fantasy RPG Core Rules 3rd Edition
Just realized the are several items that doesn't have a description, maybe they don't need it, or where they added lately to the list w/out their corresponding description?
These are the items:
Belt Pouch
Bit and bridle
Cloak
Clothing, common outfit
Glass bottle or vial
Grappling Hook
Holy Symbol
Horseshoes & shoeing
Ink, per jar
Iron Spikes, 12
Ladder, 10 ft.
Manacles (without padlock)
Oil (per flask)
Padlock (with 2 keys)
Paper (per sheet)
Pole, 10' wooden
Quill
Quill Knife
Saddle, Pack
Saddle, Riding
Spellbook (128 pages)
Tent, Large (ten men)
Tent, Small (one man)
Whistle
Secondly and a minor thing, the dry rations and hem rope seems to be out of order.

I never felt the urge to detail those items; classic games didn't. As to the order... hmm, good catch.
Neither item is likely to be fixed any time soon, since I have no plans for a new edition.

Hello,
page 38, Overland Travel, Road (Paved): the adjustment is "x1 1/3".
What does that mean?

Divide the normal overland travel rate by 3, and add it again to the normal overland travel rate.
1+1/3 = 4/3
It means that they should travel faster on a road, than they would through an open field.

Ok that makes sense, the problem was how to read that.
Maybe just "x 4/3" could have been better.

Irregular fractions are not commonly used in English texts, outside of math books. I do understand the confusion, though.

Re: Magical Item Compendium
Borgar, do you take requests?
I'd love to see a Horn of Doom. That's the item that casts Animate Dead when you blow it. Should be decorated in a, um, darker theme.

I haven't been drawing that much lately but getting a request was flattering so I have made an attemptSolomoriah wrote: ↑Sat Feb 16, 2019 12:07 pm Borgar, do you take requests?

Not quite satisfied so I may do some more attempts on this.
Please excuse the somewhat bad "scan" (mobile phone photo with a bit of GIMP cleanup)
