Re: And Now, For Something Completely Different...
I posted the player's book up above... the mechanics are there.
I'm unsure of the game balance/power level of the skills but I'm pretty sure of the rest of the mechanics, especially combat, which is the result of deconstructing Basic Fantasy and my memories of another non-OSR game from back in the day, then reassembling in the form presented in the book.

And if you want more eyes, Facebook and Google+ will get more attention than here these days. Not that I'm on either...

Sounds like 'Forbidden Planet' in the tech setting. More smart crew than super computers. Happy to draw anything needed, and maybe r UK led input

Re: And Now, For Something Completely Different...
I've run a space game once or twice. The last was using the Buck Rodgers system, where the players were a UN force of military experts secretly a back up for Buck. They also had an 'Accident' and awoke in the 25th century. It didn't help that their leader was an unbalanced S.E.A.L. ala 'the Abyss'. Was a super great one shot as they left earth looking to find Buck and ended up on a deep-spaceport gambling city full of space-gansters...

Here's the title for the show. The sun-and-wings is the logo of the Solar Alliance.

Man. I'll offer input where I can. And playtest is a go for me although not sure how that'd happen atm so I'll need more info as far as playtest goes before I can commit to a test.

Space Force: Service guarantees Citizenship!
I'm doing my part!
"Mother Russia will not play second string cowboy to American led Space Force. We will do what needs to be done to insure Russia is preeminent force in space, even if that means stealing technology. Old saying goes, "Why pay for the cow, when you can reach through the fence and milk it?" And trust me Mother Russian has long reach."
-Comrade Nikolai Vilshevik, Russian Ambassador to United States (caught on tape at Washington social function by FBI).
Point me in a direction and give me orders товарищ.

Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

This looks fantastic! I’m a huge fan of all varieties of science fiction, and the low tech hard sci-fi tickles my nostalgia to no end. I’m onboard for any idea bouncing, writing, and playtesting needed to help this project reach the final frontier. Hehe.

Nekron, you're a nut. And I mean that in the very best way.
Unfortunately, Russians are adversaries, at least for the first season.
