For all my US friends, have a very happy Fourth of July Independence Day!
Be safe with your celebrations. I am in what is considered 'high desert' and we are exceptionally dry right now, so no fireworks for us... will maybe head out where we can see a few fireworks.
Happy July 4th!
Happy July 4th!
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Re: Happy July 4th!
The little town where I grew up has a celebration every year, and it's practically required that those of us who can do so show up. And my mother-in-law lives on the parade route, so parking is no problem! After the parade I'll probably hit the car show briefly, then eat some lunch and goof off for a while as the early afternoon entertainment isn't all that exciting. At midafternoon, more or less, we'll go up to the park, eat kettle corn and drink lemon shakeups and listen to the music (or reconnect with old friends/enemies/acquaintances).
Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. 93 F and no rain in the forecast, so under the trees in the park should be comfortable.

How's the humidity in Missouri these days? Still way up there?Solomoriah wrote: ↑Tue Jul 03, 2018 11:42 pm The little town where I grew up has a celebration every year, and it's practically required that those of us who can do so show up.
