Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Doughbert? That bloody door has some other strange effects we were previously unaware of, it seems.

"Doughbert?"
OOC: Oh my Timorel has forgotten who I am, or perhaps he has been replaced by a doppelganger in the dark of the night, I shall be wary of his actions. Or perhaps he is speaking to someone else that I have not seen as yet, mayhaps I shall stay my mighty mace, and await further clarification. or methinks that perhaps "Doughbert" is elven for "What the Hell?"

Player: I drink the potion!
DM: Are you sure you want to do that?
Player: Um, no. Maybe, Why, do you think it would be stupid?

OOC: Whenever Timorel speaks, I always mark the words w/ quotation marks and color them blue. Maybe Arven is hearing things? Or maybe we've just entered ... the Twilight Zone!

LOL, I did the same thing once in the other game. I can't keep my personalities straight.
Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
Is Shybolt still bleeding? Slower or no change?

Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
(You may not have noticed but I said "doughbert" instead of "shybolt" in the earlier thread)
Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
OOC: He wrapped his head in a towel last night before going to bed so this morning he looks like the Great Zandini.

Grumm will hang back and see what the crowd is up to. If they aren't immediately threatening to his companions, he'll reconnoiter the inn - walk the perimeter, see if he finds anything worrisome. If they are threatening his comrades, he'll still hang back a little to figure out why.

Re: Chapter 4: Regrouping
As Grumm approached, he saw Jack pounding on the door, with his usual group of cronies around him. "Here, Grumm," said one of them, "what's going on here? Why isn't the inn open this morning?"
...
Shybolt removed the rather bloody towel from his head, and with a marginally clean spot wiped away some of the blood on his face. Grabbing his bow, he trotted out into the hall and down to the common room, where Brother Arven and Timorel stood, looking at the dark, empty space. The whole inn seemed as quiet and empty as the night before... there was no sign of Harald and Irena.
