You seem to have made a decision to enter the temple.

If so, which way? Back door (there's still a crab there), front door, climbing into area 2, or climbing down the tunnel into area 8.

Or, if you are going to go back to the village, take a vote on it. This stuff matters.

Kanya would prefer to avoid the crab if possible. They are pretty hard to hit.

Other than that, no preference. She'll defer the decision to those who have been there before.

"I think that the front door make it easier for us if things get ugly. For this reason I would propose that option."

[Woe]

"Works for me." Kanya will ensure that her pistol is fully loaded, then walk toward the front door -- hopefully with others as well.

Sure, why not? Saracen loads his rifle, then slings it over his back and draws his sword, following just behind kanya.

Seeing that everybody seems to agree with his idea, he charges his pistol and follow Kanya and Saracen towards the front door.

As with the others, Maju will ensure that his pistols are fully loaded. He will then allow others to take the lead into the temple.

As the party is making their way into the temple, Maju says to Teruk, "At your village, the ogres were digging for some blue stones buried beneath the temple. Do you know anything about that?"

The party is reunited. Big EXP dump coming as soon as you finish the temple.

Teruk says he knows nothing about the glass orb. Sounds like magic of the old white wizards, he says. He thanks you profusely and commits himself and his 5 men to helping you on the beach. You notice there is still much antipathy towards Saracen, however.

While you are on your way back across the top, one of his men peers down into the sunken garden (2) and sees a giant scorpion there. It is about 30 feet up the wall of the sinkhole, on the north hand side. You can also hear a man (skull warrior) calling out from area 3, saying he is trapped by another scorpion. He doesn't seem to know that most of his comrades and his leader are dead. So that's 2 scorpions remaining, for sure.

If you want to avoid all that, you are all at the front door. But you will run into the scorpion area pretty fast, if you go in there.

If you want to attack the scorpion in the sunken garden (2), you could probably get a lot of missile shots at it from the top of the sinkhole on the south side, if you wanted. That would depend on how stealthy you were as you approached the sinkhole.

Kanya is willing to avoid, especially if that climbing scorpion doesn't look like it is on the attack.

DM: It was just hanging out on the wall.

So the old man, the old woman, and the girl are being escorted back by Teruk's men?

DM: Actually they are all hanging around near the front entrance, back about 120 yards at the treeline, where the main party were stationed originally. Teruk is trying to persuade you not to go inside. It's now been ten minutes or more since the last action in the game.
