I'm going to post some images here that folks are free to use for BFRPG. You may also use the ones in the thread
viewtopic.php?f=21&t=1732.
Just as a disclaimer, I will be using some of these for my own writings that I sell on drivethrurpg.com. But I'm giving permission here for anyone to use it for any the open-source BFRPG stuff as well. Not sure if I need to do anything else for the legal end of things.
Here's the WOOD TROLL (might work as a giant as well, or a hairy ogre).
And the STARING RAT BEAR

Both done with India Ink (the brush pens run) and then colored with watercolor (WOOD TROLL) or ink washes (STARING RAT BEAR).

Love the style of the wood troll.
He looks almost like he'd be a good guy!

Thanks rredmond!! Mayve I should have made him look more evil.
They are loosely based on the trolls from the old Gnomes book. I loved that book as a child (still do)

Me too! I totally thought of that book when I saw your pic. I wasn't sure how the comparison would go over.

I don't think you should change anything about it.

Thanks Ron, much appreciated.
I also didn't want to just copy the old trolls for copyright reasons. But those were great books. I wish there were RPG settings books that were that much fun to read.

I didn't do this one for a particular project, but really hope that it can find a home in a BFRPG product. Please let me know, Solo or Chiisu (or whomever), if it can be used.
Thanks also to other folks for taking a look.

Lovely artwork as always.

Dunno if it could fit with an existing adventure, but I'll surely keep in mind!

Thanks Chiisu! I already emailed it to Solo, so hopefully he (or you) can find a home for her.
Somedays the ink and watercolors are flowing just right. Somedays not so much, but you'll have this.
