I use a variety of things:

*Brushes and a dip pen with india ink - These are my favorite and give me the best results.

*A Brush marker similar to the pentel one, and sometimes a Micron marker if I don't feel like dragging out the india ink.

Sometimes i just scan my pencils and ink them digitally using Krita. However, I ca't get the same quality of lines yet using my Wacom tablet. I just can't seem to move my hand as comfortably as when drawing traditionally. You know what I mean, when the ink is flowing really well, it's like a little slice of heaven.

Now you've put the bug in my mind to draw some. But that's a good thing.

here's one for Saga of the Giants or any other BF project:). For some reason my photo editor isn't working good. Coming out darker than I'd like.

Al, they just get better and better.

Do you ever use an ink outline and then pencil shading? Just wondering.

Al, I'll fix up the colors when I get the final scans, so don't worry about that. I have to do the same thing for just about everyone's artwork... scanners are a pain.

@teaman- inks and then a black colored pencil for the shading on all the shaded ones. A regular pencil doesn't seem to get dark enough.

@Solo- thanks- very appreciated.

That color piece will grace the new cover for BF2 Fortress, Tomb, and Tower.

Which will have all the in-print modules wearing dark covers... finally. Thanks to Al for his fine work!

Thanks, I'll sharpen up my black colored pencil and maybe even crank a couple things out this afternoon, Al Cook Style.
