Why crossbow over bow?
Re: Why crossbow over bow?
Well you should choose crossbow after all it has a longer range than a normal bow. Easy kill!!! Easy Domination!!!.
Re: Why crossbow over bow?
My opinion- definitely ease of use.
I had 3 recurve crossbows used for hunting here in CT (deerhunting with CB's became all inclusive here). Two of them were excaliburs which are considered the "tough as nails" crossbow. If I was a better shot with my longbow, I'd use that. Using a crossbow with a scope makes it easier to shoot- everything else is a pain in the rear. They are large, they are heavy (heavier than the long bow!), and not easy to carry (again, compared to my long bow). They also have the nasty habit of removing fingers if you don't pay attention. Lastly, and this is a quote I read elsewhere that I agree whole heartily with- it's akin to holding a loaded beartrap next to your face.
