Oh well, thought I was in. I won't bother then.

It would be ideal for a post (in first post position) listing all the players (and their characters). doomrock, there may still be a spot.

No, wait, doomrock - you've misunderstood! You're already in as confirmed earlier. I closed the door after SmootRK, as he was the last to express an interest. Please carry on!

I went ahead and 'sticky'ed' the Roster Thread to put it on top of the other posts... seemed appropriate, although it might even seem better in the announcement section.

Game posting and absences

Post by JoeCarr28 »

Play-by-post games are inevitably slow, drawn-out affairs. However, I’d like to try and keep some sort of momentum to the proceedings, so I’m going to aim for a couple of posts a week.

I appreciate that there are going to be times when not everyone is able to keep to this, but I hope you don’t mind if I move the game forward on occasion without getting absolutely everyone’s input. Obviously, I’ll try to avoid doing this if we’re at a particularly critical stage of the adventure.

Also, if you know in advance that you’re going to be unavailable for more than a week or so, then it would be helpful if you could post in this topic just to let me know. You might also want to let me have some general instructions to cover your character whilst your away.

If there’s a situation when more than a couple of us are unavailable at any one time, I’ll probably just put the game on temporary hold until the numbers are back up again.

Hope this is all OK - feel free to comment below.

No problem for me. I usually check in a couple of times each day.

No problem for me either. I may post at odd hours/times, but otherwise I try to check a few times a day

I work long hours on the weekends, so I seldom can do much that requires intensive thought/time... So don't expect posts from me from Saturday morning until Sunday late at best.

I'm planning to leave tomorrow (the 28th) to go see my family for a few days. I won't be home until the 1st or 2nd most likely. I have net on my phone and should still be able to keep up depending on the signal there. Just figured I'd let you know.
