Equipment Emporium: Equipment

Post by Joe the Rat »

Another split on the Equipment Emporium: Equipment and personal gear.

Pricing, weights, organization, and general review would be appreciated

Joe, what do you think about adding the two items I proposed here?

Okay, any more feedback on this.

And for the love of Gary, does anyone have an idea on how to break out the monster list of equipment? It's over a page and a half, continuous.

Organize it into logical groups?
Lighting over here, climbing supplies and ropes over there, etc.

Set the table properties to allow splitting and duplicate headers? S'what I'd do.

It formats fine, it's just that the monster list is rather, well, monstrous.

Coming from the gnomes and half-humans discussion, I'm thinking about adding a table for encumbrance by character size to the GM section for quick reference.

In my house rules document, I have the encumbrance table for large as well as for expanded ranges of STR (but this part can be clipped if you want). I posted about it in the Core Rules Thread but the doc can be accessed here:
download/file.php?id=512

I think this table (or derived table) is fine to show up in a few places... the Monsters as Races Supplement is another place it really should be found too.
Is it really the end, not some crazy dream?

Since chiisu81 is looking for work, I thought I'd bump this up again.

I'll definitely look into this. Also reading the other forum thread here, should that be the one future updates, etc. go to since it was started by Solo?

If it's about this supplement, it should go here. If it's about the rest, put it there.

Spinning the Sears Catalog off into specialty supplements is making the workspace a little nutty.
