Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
This chamber appears to be the center of the tower. It is dominated by a large staircase that winds its way up the center of the chamber. Several other wooden doors line the walls leading to other parts of the tower.

"If you don't go disturbing them, they should leave us alone for an hour, half hour or so. Nat! Get in here!"
Magner recovers his bow and arrow, then starts looking at the doors. Then he looks back at Thorgrim. "Think you might have better luck checking locks than under rocks?"

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Thorgrim opens his eyes and groans, "Those be nasty critters. Many thanks for your mending touch."
He slowly gets to his feet and looks around. "Did ye slaughter the vermin or drive them away?"
He looks over at Magner, "Aye, at least locks don't bite back, well, as long as they're not trapped."
Thorgrim will then cautiously examine the room for any other traps and then proceed to check the doors for traps as well. If he doesn't find any traps he will check the doors to see whether they are locked or not.

The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

"I told them to go home. We'll need to get their home out of here before you decide to put up new curtains, though. I might be able to convince them to leave, and we can dump their nest under a window. A nest of centipedes makes a good deterrent for would-be window burglars."

"We'd better hurry then."
OOC:
This is what's behind the double doors right? Or this is where we are now?

OOC: How's Thorgrim's progress with those doors?

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
When everyone gets clear of the door, Magner will try to urge the centipedes to leave the building. If they vacate, he will start kicking the nest towards the door as well.

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Thorgrim determines that three of the seven doors (not counting the door you entered through) leading out of this chamber are locked.
((Also Dwali will move out of the way so that Magner can remove the centipedes.))

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
(OOC: Would we be able to get a rough sketch of the room, where the doors are, and which ones are locked? )
