Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
That's a good question, can you calm vermin the same way you can calm animals?

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Let's find out.
Magner relaxes his bow, holding bow and knocked arrow with his bow hand. He steps forward slowly, holding his right hand forward, palm down, and starts making tutting noises at the centipedes. "Hush, crawlers, hush. Leave be. These are not your prey."
If things go pear-shaped, he'll skedaddle in whichever direction gives the rest a chance to shoot the buggers.

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Magners mutterings seemed to have some effect, the centipedes stop approaching and instead return to their nest.
Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
"Amazing."
Talim goes to check on the dwarf.
"Can you see about his wounds?"

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Magner goes over to tend to Thorgrim, and will see about binding up the bite.
"That should help some, but I'm not going to be able to do more for the poison right now. If only I had some kingsfoil... The 'pede's will leave us alone for a bit, but if we wish to keep the tower, we'd best move them out. They'd have better hunting in the woods, anyways. Some long brooms or poles to push their nest, perhaps."

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Thorgrim moans softly as Magner tends to him.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.
Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Talim finds Magner's suggestion of pushing the centipedes out dubious, at best. However, after the events of the past few minutes, he isn't inclined to argue the point. He starts looking around for any likely tools to do the job.

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
Alright Magner binds Thorgrims wounds healing him for 4 hit points.
Talim inspects the room but can see no object that he could use to push the centipedes outdoors.

Re: Welcome to the Borderlands
"Magner, how long do you think before those centipedes come back?"
Talim cautiously opens the double doors, sword at the ready.
OOC: Is Thorgrim up and about?
