Shybolt scrambled up the slippery, wet slope, grateful for Grumm's assistance. The whole way up, he felt sure that something was right behind him... he would have sworn he could feel hot breath on his neck. But at the top, looking back down, he saw no sign of any creature.

Timorel looks calmly out at the rain and calls back, "Find anything interesting? Or can we set up camp?"

Question for the GM: How far are we from the town?

"I don't know what I found. I fell in a pit and I felt like the devil himself was breathing down my neck, but I never saw anything." Shybolt shrugs, "Might as well make camp anyway."

Shybolt cuddles up next to the wall halfway between the outside and the passage. He gnaws on a ration bar and drinks down some water while he sharpens and cleans his weapons and cleans up his gear. Then he slips into dreamie time.

"Ah. So, we're standing over a pit of invisible demons," Timorel replies. "I tend to think Grumm has the right idea, or at least, I'd like to know more about what might kill us in our sleep before bedding down. But if it's three to two, I'll take second watch."
