Sorry folks - I don't always get alerts.
Grumm suggests that we back up - pause a moment to let the frog come to us, that we may surround it and get the most advantage. Either way, he has his glaive at the ready and will join Elwegon at the fore of the party if there is to be violence.

Elwegon was about to charge forward when he realized everyone else was holding back, so he did likewise. Then Shybolt lobbed a flaming flask of oil down the crevice toward the monstrous frog, with great success... burning oil splashed all over the narrow tunnel, driving the monster back into the darkness.

"well, I am not sure if thats a success, but if you tough guys want to lead the way we can move on once the flames die down."
Can we see any more of the tunnel now lit up by the flames?

Grumm: "I don't think we can trust that it won't be back, so the caves aren't really safe. I say we follow it."

"Aye, take the offensive, I always say" agrees Rykken.
The problem with doing something really stupid to impress people is that they may just be impressed by how stupid you really are.

The flickering illumination of the fire, being between you and the monstrous frog, reveals little of note.

OOC - I want to make sure I'm reading this correctly. The frog can be seen in the flickering fire light, or we cannot see beyond the flames?

You can see its many eyes sparkling a few feet past the fire. It's hard to really get a look at the tunnel, past the point of the burning oil.
Apologies for the late reply... been sick all week.
