Rykken accepts the handshake but begins to get an uneasy feeling from the looks being passed around between the dwarves. He will not make any noticeable movements but will keep a close eye on the group and mentally prepare himself for potential trouble.

Grumm will remain obscured for the moment - not sure how they will handle a half-orc.

Since Shybolt does not speak Dwarf, I'm going to ignore his "nobody means to do anyone any harm" comment, as he obviously couldn't make it.
Trajan and Ulro both appeared surprised to see Shybolt, but he suspected they were faking it. Trajan switched to Common, saying, "A halfling, eh? Well met. Tell me, are these tunnels extensive? We are scouting for new territory."

(I was intending to make my comment in common. One of them may have spoken common, and if not I was showing that I wasn't hiding from them any more.)
"we've only found a few rooms before finding this dead end."

Timorel will walk to a point about 20' inside the room where he can be seen. "Greetings, dwarf lords," he says. "I am Timorel, one of good Rykken's companions."

(we'll probably be fighting these guys if we don't convince them to beat it)
When Timorrel steps out, Doughbert will make subdued, but still visible to the dwarf leader, movements with his hands to several locations against the west wall telling all of the other members of our party that they should remain hidden. Perhaps he will wonder how many more people we have in place ready to ambush them if they start anything.

"Well," said Trajan, "we'll be off, then." His eyes twitched, just once, in a way that made Shybolt think he was curious about his signals, and then he turned and made a sort of shooing motion toward his comrades, who all turned and began marching back down the hallway.
In a moment, they were out of sight, but their footsteps could still be heard receding.

At their abrupt departure, Timorel says, "I guess they don't care for elves, then. I also guess we're going to have to watch our backs a little closer from here on."
He rests a hand on the pommel of his two-handed sword and watches the dwarves march off.

(OOC: we should always be watching our backs, but I am assuming this was just a random encounter rather than a long term foil for the party.)

Just so you know, I'm waiting for you all to declare actions.
