Rykken listened carefully, and thought he heard footsteps; they weren't near, yet, and it sounded like more than one person. Booted feet, he was sure of it.

OOC: Actually, what we need is for Rykken to quietly let the rest of us know he hears something so we can get ready.

Timorel stands so he can see both Shybolt and Rykken and waits for the halfling to solve the puzzle.

Its doubtful that the halfling will solve the puzzle. He was just killing time waiting for the rest of the party to come alive

Ah, I thought he had a plan. Luckily, elves are naturally long-lived, so Timorel has time to spend on things like this.

"Psssst, guys," Rykken hissed, "It sounds like we've got company coming. Seems like several at least, with boots on."

Timorel quietly steps out of the line of sight of the hallway and slips over to the wall, ready with his sword.

(OOC: Is there a map somewhere that I could refresh my memory with or even if someone could just give a few quick details to bring me back up to speed about doors, etc. in the room.)

Shybolt will move to hide behind the chair, bow ready, but hope that the sounds will go down the other passageway
