Chapter 9

[Sir Bedivere]

"We must push him out of the doorway!" Timorel calls out.

If Shybolt doesn't attack Trajan, Timorel will strike with his sword. If Shybolt does attack Trajan (there being no vulnerable throats lying about), Timorel will wait with his sword out, ready to step in.

[Solomoriah]

Rykken's maul hit Trajan with an audible crack and the dwarf leader's body fell across the sleeping dwarf he'd been trying to rouse. The other dwarf, seeing his leader fall, turned and ran before any of the adventurers could close with him.

The dwarf beneath Trajan began to stir...

[Hywaywolf]

Shybolt will race after the fleeing dwarf if its possible, someone else can slit the throats of the rest.

[Solomoriah]

Shybolt leaped over the dwarf bodies in pursuit of the last one, but when he reached the other side, he discovered his quarry was already gone. He could hear soft boots hitting the floor, but could not determine which corridor the sound was coming from.

[Hywaywolf]

"Grommet spit," curses Shybolt as he loses track of the fleeing dwarf. He'll then return to the scene of battle and fight any dwarfs that wake up, or slit the throats of all but one if they haven't already been slit.

[Solomoriah]

I'm waiting for you guys to decide what to do next. So, holding for, like, EVERYONE...

[Hywaywolf]

Not much else I can do till someone else posts other than what I already stated, slit the throats and loot the bodies, and I will add that we will question the last one.

[Blazeguard]

Rykken gives the stirring dwarf a tap with his maul, just enough to knock him out again. "Anyone have any rope to tie this one up with?" he asks. "Someone want to slit their throats?" he says, motioning towards the other sleeping dwarves. He will then begin confiscating all their weapons before they wake up and then help loot the bodies after they are killed.

[Sir Bedivere]

Timorel does his part, then asks, "Where do we put the bodies?"

[Hywaywolf]

I don't like starting into the dpths without the sleep spell. So I say we strip these bodies, armor, weapons, gear, and any other loot and head back to the tavern. See if the dwarves came through that way. Clean up and come back down in the morning? Or we could just move on down and check things out.
