Cool. Just to make this easy, can we say we've burned one torch per chapter? That would mean we're on our 8th of 12 and Shybolt and Arven would each have two unused torches.

Shybolt will will check with the others to see about setting a guard, encouraging Arven to turn in first in order to get his healing powers back the soonest. Hopefully it doesn't matter that its only noon and Arven can sleep in the day time. he'll then spend his watch time sharpening his blade, checking his arrows, cleaning his gear and restocking his general supplies.

OOC: My bad, sorry I got wrapped up in that real life stuff.

Brother Arven will apply his healing touch to whomever needs it. I have two per day so step on up my weary children.
He is also wondering if we should wait for a reply from the church for Shybolt condition?

Stocking up and waiting until fully ready would be the most prudent way to go. Food, Sleep and no sparks from the torch falling on my shield arm for a few days seems rightly in order.

Very well. You have torches. What are you going to do with them?

(OOC: nothing but light the way for Arven and Shybolt and light my wicked oil flask. I just wanted to stop the back and forth about teh supplies, it was too much of a distraction so I did a quick search through the posts during the times we were out of the tunnels. I just searched using :"suppl" then "stock" to see what popped up.

I have found that when I play live, whether in person or online, I am meticulous abouit mapping, tracking supplies, treasures and clues, but in the PBP I am horrible about keeping up with that stuff. Probably because I just assume I can track it down later then never do :) )

Let's go with Shybolt's plan outlined above. Grumm will go to the south passage and wait for the oil to be thrown. He will then shoot away with his short bow.

Agreed. Timorel follows Grumm & will stand on the opposite side of the south passage from him. He'll employ his bow when the time comes.

OOC: Sorry about that.

Brother Arven (I think I understand the plan) will stay with Shybolt near the West passage. He will stand ready to attack with his mace should the opportunity arise. He will initially stand with his back to the passage wall to present a smaller target.

Grumm and Timorel, moving as quietly as possible and hugging the south wall, walked across the room toward the southern corridor. As their vision adapted to the darkness, they could again see the entire room.

Both men felt their blood run cold... the serpent was gone. It had apparently awakened and slipped away while they made plans to slay it.
